Coney Island USA has a museum, gift shop, bar and theater inside its building on Surf Avenue. The organization wanted to advertise attractions through painted graphics on the exterior. I designed the paint treatment.
While I was developing ideas for them, I looked at the building from a couple of approaches. First from the subway as I arrived in Coney Island,
and then from the sidewalk. I also considered their existing style guide.
I made this rendering and the following color guide to assist with the painting process.
